Lady Thatcher - The Iron Lady Moves On
Across the nation we have seen many signs of discontent with regard to Lady Thatcher’s spell as PM. We have also witnessed only the second national funeral held for a PM in our recent history. Whilst phantom political groups were burning effigies of Lady Thatcher, others were laying flowers outside the house where she grew up in Grantham, Lincolnshire.

Wild Elephants and Dumbo in B/W
I have chosen to present the following shots in Black and White; I find that the prehistoric nature of elephants is much more potent. It plays with the senses a lot more - something I believe a photograph should do.

Up to Gorongosa National Park
After a brief re-charge in Maputo, it was time to drive up North towards the middle of the country. My destination was Gorongosa National Park, near Chimoio and just above Mocambique’s second city – Beira. It took two days to get there with non-stop ten hour days behind the wheel.
